Delicious and healthy smoothie
One of my favourite things to have for breakfast is smoothie, especially in the spring and summer when I find it kind of hard to eat warm or heavy food. From time to time I also find it hard to get enough vitamins. Days like that a healthy smoothie is absolutely perfect for me.
Today I made a green smoothie with spinach, banana, mango and orange and it’s sooo delicious! Before I tried having spinach in my smoothies I have to admit that I was really sceptical! I mean, spinach in a smoothie!? Well, it turned out I had nothing to worry about! The spinach provides the smoothie with a lot of good stuff like vitamins, protein and fibers but doesn’t add any vegetably taste at all. Can it get any better than that!?
- 65 g spinach
- 100 ml water
- 1 banana
- 1 orange
- 1 mango
- Peel and cut the banana, mango and orange into smaller pieces.
- Add the spinach and water to the blender and mix.
- Add the fruits and mix until smooth.
- Top with fresh fruits and enjoy!
